29 June, 2017 Article updated: 29/6/17 ​ Incoming Calls & Email There was one call late Wednesday night, the lift in building 6 had failed. Schindler attended site shortly after and the lift was functioning. They ran some tests and no fault was found.

Building 5 The plumbers & electricians started to remove all the damaged infrastructure and will be fitting all the new pipes, wires etc next week. Further clean-up of the units and basement was also completed.

Jetty in Lagoon This has had two coats of decking oil applied. Thanks to Glen, building 3 for his help. Click here to see the photo. ​ Air-conditioner A system had to be replaced in building 1. It took a 100t crane to get the reach to remove and replace the unit on the roof. Click here to see the photo. Pumps All the stormwater & sewerage pumps are on auto and running as required. One of the hot water circulating pumps under building 2 started to make a bearing noise. This was quickly swapped over with the spare reconditioned pump. Sprinklers The sprinkler system is 50% complete outside buildings 4, 5, 6 & 7. This is fed by the two new stormwater tanks under building 6. I expect to have it fully operational by the end of June.

Lifts All lifts are undergoing an annual integral safety inspection over the next four weeks. This is in addition to the routine three monthly general inspections.

Lights & Smoke Alarms All the emergency lights & smoke alarms are in check.

Contract Gardener Maintenance & planting continues to reinstate & grow our gardens to become abundant, colourful & lush.

New Residents No residents moved out. No residents moved in.

Friday Night Function It was back to usual with a great evening with 37 attendees, the 5pm start giving a good amount of time to catch up and enjoy the evening. The gas heater and Brickett Brazier were up and running providing ample warmth for the winter night.

Pool The pool temperature peaked at 19 degrees this week. The filter pumps are on winter operations, with both the primary & secondary filter pumps & chlorinators running 6.30am and 6.30pm, this is keeping the Chlorine, Ph & Alkalinity levels within specs at all times. The LED blue pool lights now turn off at 9.30pm, the LED white wall light still runs until 1am.
