Well the project is finally about to begin on the first section of building 2! The following notice has been given to the affected unit residents so that they can prepare for the work to start next week...

PAINTING PROJECT

Commencing Monday 15/2/16

The contractors will start to erect the scaffold at building 2 commencing on Monday 15th (next week). They anticipate this to take approximately 3 days and be ready for the paint team later in the week.

This will affect units:

215, 216, 217, 218

225, 226, 227, 228

235, 236, 237, 238

243, 244

Please ensure that any items of furniture or other equipment is removed from your balcony and balcony walls, so that they are clear for the preparation and painting to begin later next week. This is to avoid your furniture being damaged and to allow the painters free access to paint unit balcony walls and ceilings and to waterproof the balcony tiles.

We expect that each section of building will take approximately 2 weeks to complete, depending on the weather conditions. When the scaffold is removed you will be able to return your furniture to your balcony.

Next week we will be preparing building 4 residents for work to start on their building around Monday 22/2/16. Currently the contractor is looking at abseiling down the face of building 4 as an alternative to using the scaffold. This allows the two buildings to be worked on at the same time.
