Yesterday the painting contract was agreed and signed by the Body Corporate and the contractor. It was a red-letter day for me personally having pushed the project all along the way to this point.

The start date is now set for 15th February next year after the school maintenance projects are completed by the contractor. Prior to the start we will post a notice informing owners and residents of what will be happening and what to expect around the complex. There will be about 5 or 6 tradesmen coming and going every day and they have a strict code of conduct to follow so that there is minimal impact on residents.

The project is expected to take about 20 weeks to complete depending on weather conditions and the current plan is to start on building 4, the move to 1, 2 then 3, finishing up with the gym. This will allow the gym and pool to be used through Summer without disruption.
